Tile & Grout Floor Restoration in Auburn & Placer County

Dark, dirty grout lines come clean and get sealed, on floors inside and tiled patios outside. Your floor looks new again for a fraction of what new tile costs.

These are Mike’s photos from his own jobs. Same tile, same grout, cleaned and restored instead of torn out.

What floor restoration includes

Most floors that look worn aren’t. The tile is usually fine. Grout is porous, so years of mopping push dirt and spills down into it, and the lines darken until the whole floor looks old. A mop can’t reach that dirt. A deep cleaning can.

  • Deep cleaning of tile and grout, down into the grout lines

  • Sealing, so grout resists dirt and stains longer

  • Kitchens, entries, hallways, baths and laundry rooms

  • Tiled patios and other outdoor tile

  • Products chosen for your floor, whether it’s ceramic, porcelain or natural stone

When cleaning isn’t enough

If grout is cracked, crumbling or missing, cleaning won’t bring it back. Mike repairs or regrouts those spots. If you want a different grout color, or the grout won’t come clean evenly, grout color sealing gives every line one even color.

Floor questions

Will my floor really look new?

Usually it comes very close, because most of what makes a floor look old is dirt in the grout. The photos on this page are from Mike’s own jobs. At the estimate, Mike will tell you what to expect for your floor, including any stains or damage that cleaning won’t remove.

Do I need new grout, or just a cleaning?

If the grout is solid and just dark, cleaning and sealing is usually enough. If it’s cracked, crumbling or missing in spots, those areas need repair or regrouting. A photo is often enough for Mike to tell you which.

Do you clean outdoor tile and patios?

Yes. Mike cleans and seals tiled patios and other outdoor tile.

How often should floor grout be sealed?

It depends on how much traffic the floor gets and which sealer is used. Mike will tell you what he recommends for your floor, and he leaves you with simple care tips so the sealer lasts.

How soon can I walk on the floor?

Right away. Floors that are cleaned and stain-sealed can be walked on as soon as Mike is done.
