Most tile doesn’t need replacing
Ask a remodeler about a dark shower or a dull floor and you'll probably get a quote for new tile. Usually the tile itself is fine. What you're seeing is dirt worked deep into the grout, worn-out sealer, a few cracked pieces, or stone that has lost its polish. All of that can be fixed.
Mike deep cleans, recolors and seals grout. He repairs cracked tiles without tearing them out, and he polishes and seals travertine and marble. You keep the tile you chose, for a fraction of what replacement costs.
Sometimes replacing is the right call, like when tiles are loose or water has gotten behind them. If that's what Mike finds, he'll tell you.
